Terms and Conditions
The Law
The terms and conditions setout below and the agreement between JAGS Chauffeur Drive and the client is governed by English Law.
Bookings
All booking requests are acknowledged with an e-mail or postal confirmation. It is solely the bookers responsibility to review the confirmation for errors and amendments. If no booking confirmation has been received within 24 hours of booking request, it’s the bookers responsibility to contact JAGS Chauffeur Drive as we cannot take responsibility for delayed or none delivered mail.
Itinerary Alterations
Minor journey itinerary adjustments do not incur any charges. JAGS Chauffeur Drive at its own discretion will determine the nature of any alterations to the journey and alter the charges accordingly. Amendments may be subject to additional charges if not notified 24 hours prior to booking.
Hire Costs
We guarantee the quoted cost of vehicle hire providing that the original itinerary at the time of booking hasn't been altered.
Non Attendance
The booker is liable for full payment of journey for non attendance. If applicable waiting time and parking charges (at cost) will also be incurred.
The Route
The route adopted for the booked journey will be at the discretion of the chauffeur unless a preferred route is specified at the time of booking. Unscheduled requests to alter the route, waiting time and pick-ups/drop-offs will incur additional charges.
Cancellations
Cancellations made before 24 hours of scheduled pickup time will incur no charges. The full journey charge will apply to cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled pickup time.
Liability
JAGS Chauffeur Drive cannot be held responsible or liable for any delay caused by circumstances beyond our control. Its the bookers responsibility to allow ample time for the journey. However we shall do our up most to get you to your destination on schedule.
Waiting Time
The first 15 minutes of waiting is included in the price quoted, thereafter waiting time is charged by 15 minute increments.
The maximum waiting time at airports is 1½ hours from the official time of landing, after which the booking will be designated as a no show. Therefore it is the responsibility of the booker to inform us of any delays or amendments to their journey. If a booking is designated as a no show the booker is liable for the full cost of the journey, waiting time charges and parking at cost.
Insurance
JAGS Chauffeur Drive are fully insured for passenger travel this only covers public liability and doesn’t constitute a travel insurance.
Client Conduct
JAGS Chauffeur Drive reserves the right to refuse travel to anyone deemed to be a nuisance or danger to other passengers and employees. We may seek the help of police to remove any offenders from our vehicles and will not pay any compensation or refund in such circumstances.
Smoking
We observe a non-smoking policy in all our vehicles.
Use of Vehicles
JAGS Chauffeur Drive reserve the right to sub contract any booking in the event of vehicle unavailability.
Airport Pickups
All flight times are monitored to ensure that a chauffeur is there to meet you regardless of whether the flight is delayed or early.
All Pickups
In the unlikely event that you cannot find the chauffeur you must contact JAGS Chauffeur Drive immediately on +44(0) 1293 402 331 and wait for our advice.
Xmas Boxing Day and New Year Day Charges
A 100% surcharge will apply to booking made for Xmas Day and New Years Day. A 50% surcharge will apply to booking made for Xmas eve, Boxing Day and New Years eve.
